The “kiosk” version of the app can be used at trade shows to to give clients a hands-on look at the sales app in a streamlined version, removing some sections of the app like What’s New, Media Library, and the Settings page. Currently, it is only available on Windows devices, with iOS and Android forthcoming.
To activate Kiosk mode, login to your app on your device. From here, go to Settings and scroll to the very bottom where it says “ Enter Kiosk Mode”. To turn on Kiosk Mode, tap the “Enter Kiosk Mode” button.
App users will need to establish and enter a 4-digit pin. This will be used to access and exit Kiosk mode. The user will want to enter the pin into the top field asking for the “Kiosk Mode PIN”.
Once the user has entered their PIN, they can choose to have the app homepage displayed, or they may choose to show just an agenda.
Note: You can view existing agendas in Kiosk mode, but cannot create them.
After the user makes this selection, they may tap the Start button or they may go back to the app by hitting Exit in the lower left corner. If the user chooses to exit, they will be prompted to enter the 4-digit pin that was created.
If the user chooses to start Kiosk mode they will be able to use it like the app. After five minutes, there will be a pop-up that will ask if the user would like to continue or exit. If they continue, it will stay in Kiosk mode.
If the user chooses to end the session, they will be brought back to the Kiosk mode home screen. Tap “Exit” and the user will return to the app after entering their PIN.
When in Kiosk mode, the user does have the option to send follow ups to clients from the app. To do so, the user will want to make sure that they enter their email in the email address field above the “Enter Kiosk Mode” button.
When added, the user will be able to enter Kiosk mode.
To send a follow up, simply tap on the “Envelope” icon in the upper right hand corner of the media item that should be sent.
A window will open up where the sender can enter the recipient’s email address. Once that has been entered, press the “OK” button, and the follow up will be sent to the recipient.
